Compensation Must Satisfy the Work
Compensation or wage is just like a reward in the shape of
money which is awarded to the worker after the work is done. It is the basic right
of laborers to get an amount just after the work is completed. And the wage
must justify the sweat of workers. But
it has been observed and reported that a high ratio of workers is not getting
paid according to the work done.
Farmers are the backbone of the economy of a country. They
are involved in producing basic necessary eatables like vegetables, fruits, and
grains. Many workers are involved in producing lucrative products like coffee,
clothing, and chocolates which is million-dollar industry. Even they are facing
problems like poverty and low standards of living.
To end that discriminative behavior at the lower level Fairtrade
movement is introduced to reduce the poverty ratio, mistreatment of the
workers, climate issues, and economic constraints around the world. The
organization that raises the voice for the equal rights of workers was
established in the year 2004. Its
motive and demand are to treat fairly with the workers who work hard to produce
those things which are necessary for the survival and better living of the
population around the world.
The second Saturday of
May is a dedicated day for the celebration of the fair-trade movement
initiated by the World Fair Trade
Organization. Multiple festivals are arranged to observe the Fair-Trade
Campaign worldwide and encourage others to join the fight for better allotment
of the rights of workers.
