Guidelines For Setting A Password

We are going through the era of artificial intelligence where the digital security is at stake. Various cases are now reporting that the due to cyber attack the important information, data and even bank balance is withdrawn without the knowledge of the owner. To cope with these challenges, it is suggested that everyone should have a strong password to secure its personal information from any outside attack. Here are some important guidelines which might be helpful in setting of a strong password.

Feature of Strong Password

·       It should be consisting on at-least 8 character

·       Both uppercase and lowercase letters must be used

·       Mixture of digits and letters

·       Add at least one special character (e.g.! @ # $ % ^ *)

Weak password examples

·       Any word found in the dictionary of any language (e.g. train, bushes)

·       Repeated character or series of same words (e.g. AAAA or 6789)

·       Personal information-based password (e.g. birthday, car number)

Tips for keeping security of password

·       Never tell to anyone

·       Change it within 6 months

·       Immediately change it if any suspicious activity found

·       Avoid typing in different un-trusted websites
