Everyone drinks tea but only a few people know the plant which produces tea. From the plant Camellia Sinensis tea is produced which is a worldwide favorite beverage. It is the second-largest drink which is consumed worldwide after water. Tea is along with humans for more than 5000 years and it still has a great presence.

According to estimation a tea lover usually drinks 10-15 cups of tea in the day. Tea lovers are famous due to If it is consumed at such a peak by an individual then imagine the tea lovers in the whole world. Other than tea lovers’ common people also like to drink tea after a meal. Facts and figures show that from the year 2012 to 2020 the consumption of tea is 6.3 billion kilograms and it is predicted that it will increase to 7.4 billion kilograms by 2025.

It’s a billion-dollar industry and has a great positive impact on the worldwide economy. It is helping under-developed countries to eradicate poverty and provides job opportunities in a way to stabilize the economy of the country. China is the largest producer of tea and earns a handsome foreign exchange by exporting it to other countries of the world.

Tea also has cultural importance and is considered a part of it. People use tea mostly after meals, breakfast, lunch, and even dinner. Tea parties are held to celebrate any kind of happiness. The use of biscuits with tea also enhances the joy of the moment. It is served on the welcome of any relatives and friends.

Doctors also recommend tea to treat colds, flu, and cough. Because it has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and weight loss ingredients so it is considered for the wellness of health. If anything is important in daily consumption such as culture, economy, and health so we won’t stay back by calling Camellia Sinensis king of all plants.
