BANGLADESH INDEPENDENCE DAY


The history of Bangladesh was full of sorrow because it lived under the influence of many nations before its independence. Bangladesh is one of those countries that get freedom two times one is upon the ideology of Muslims and the second one is due to political instability.

The journey of Bangladesh’s independence is not a bed of roses. It is like a sharp Nail injected in the head by a hammer. Millions of people lost their lives for getting freedom from outsiders’ influence.  British raj remains over 80 years and the right of Muslims living there got neglected. At the time of independence on 14th August 1947 millions of Bengali people took part in the war with the passion to get Martyrdom.

Can we imagine living without a home and family? The condition of people in Bengal was the same as the whole sub-continent. At the time when Pakistan declared its independence, Bangladesh was part of it. Muslims living in India have to travel west of East Pakistan, in the shifting process, the condition of Muslims was miserable. Such as insane goons chased Muslims like a thirsty dog and killed them at the spot.

After some time of independence, new issues arose between west and east Pakistan. The feeling of deprivation didn’t end until Bangladesh get its independence from Pakistan in 1971. The dark days are now ended and hard work pays off in the shape of a free country.

The people of Bangladesh celebrate the biggest event of independence on 26 March every year. It’s a national holiday and various events are conducted to enjoy the day of independence as a carnival. The youth of the country comes on roads and dance on streets to make this special day more memorable. On this special occasion, Remit choice cannot stay back from wishing a very happy independence day to the nation of Bangladesh living all around the world.

SEND MONEY FROM CANADA TO INDIA

  One of my lost cousin came from Amritsar, Indian Punjab to meet me in Canada.  My family migrated to Canada at the time of war 1965.
